Request human help and return to your chat
Learn how human requests work, where replies appear and why your conversation return link must stay private.

Request human help
When human requests are enabled in the chat you are using, review and submit your request. Submitting a request is not the same as a staff member accepting it: staff must separately choose Accept request and take over. Submitting a request does not promise a particular response time.
Staff replies stay in the chat. An email copy requires both an email address and configured email delivery, so do not rely on receiving an email copy. Replies to an email copy go to your company’s receiving mailbox and are not automatically added to the Jifi case.
Phone details can be recorded, but phone and SMS delivery are not connected.
Keep a private way back to the conversation
Use Copy return link to save a way back to your conversation. The link grants private conversation access. Keep it secret and do not post it publicly or share it with anyone who should not see the conversation.
If you manage incoming requests
- Choose Accept request to take over a submitted human request.
- Use Reply to customer to send your response.
- Keep in mind that replies remain in chat; email copies depend on an address and configured delivery.
